Workers' Comp Ohio
Many Ohioans have workers compensations claims and are not aware of it. How can that be? Let me explain. A worker bends over to lift something at work and hears a pop in his back. He is told to go to an emergency room or an urgent care center to check it out. The hospital is interested in making sure they get paid for their services and has the injured worker sign some Bureau of Workers' Compensation Forms which they send out to the state. The injured work receives a claim number and has a claim.
However, benefits are not forthcoming unless you apply for them. If you do not obtain these benefits within a certain time period, they are forever barred by the Statute of Limitations. At Taubman Law we have found thousands of claim for injured workers which they were not aware of. We have obtained different types of benefits and compensation for them based on their individualized needs.
